My INSPIRATION
My name is Zoey Kollhoff and I am a student-athlete at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My whole life I have turned to soccer as my outlet from the world and everything around me. However, I have discovered the importance of a creative outlet and allowing my imagination to flow. Through photography and mixed media art, I am able to progress my passion for portraying the world around us through an alternative lens. I love to emphasize repetition and geometric shapes within architecture, as well as accentuate bright colors to highlight beautiful textures and details. Seeing and sharing the world from a new point of view has always been my dream, so I hope my work has given this to you. Expressing myself through my art has allowed me to grow as an individual and cannot wait to see where else in this world it takes me.
MY WHY
This is me! Soccer has forever been a constant in my life, allowing me to meet the best people and achieve my lifelong dreams. | I am a diehard Yankees fan (clearly). No my bedroom doesn't look like this anymore, but it's a passion of mine that has only grown stronger. |

I love to travel. My grandparents have shared the value of traveling with my family and have given us so many opportunities to see the world together. | I was able to learn from a Venetian photographer this summer. He was so excited to show me the hidden beauty in Venice and re-ignited my love for photography. |
The East Coast is my happy place. It's where my entire family lives and we have so many memories together here. | Love this life I get to live with the most amazing people. The reason why I get to do what I love everyday and be the person I am. |
